WebJun 27, 2024 · As a partial replacement for sand, 15 mortar specimens were prepared by mixing 0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, and 40% municipal incinerated bottom ash (MIBA) (A) and 0%, 10%, and 20% PET pellets (P) in 5 cm × 5 cm × 5 cm cube molds. The cement/aggregate ratio was 1:3, and the water/cement ratio was 0.5 for all specimens. Webmade with partial replacement of cement by Coconut Shell Ash . Here in the experiment an ii fattempt has been made to increase the strength of concrete by replacing cement with 0%,5%,10%,15% and 20% of Coconut Shell Ash in a design mix of M35 and M40 and also fine aggregate with foundry sand.
