WebAug 11, 2009 · You have to get a particular BUIS for the front. It's a little taller than the one for a 5.56 rifle. I don't know about sling mounts for the DPMS as the AR10s do come with a normal sling swivel as part of the gas block. You might want to contact DPMS about that or post that question in the "AR Variants" forum. I have a Sportical (very similar to yours) and have put a lot of rounds down range in 2+ years. I use it for competition (multi gun), range and as a SD standby. I have no complaints about the gun.
